On 11 October 2024, Her Excellency, Ms Elizabeth Paula Napeyok, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Uganda in Italy, accompanied by Mr Daniel Ssekabembe, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda, visited UNIDROIT to deposit Uganda’s instruments of accession to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and to the Protocol to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters specific to Aircraft Equipment. Uganda's Delegation to the 175th Session of the FAO Council consisted of Her Excellency Elizabeth Paula Napeyok , Ambassador /Permanent Representative to FAO, WFP & IFAD, Rtd Maj Gen. David Leon Kasura- Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and headed by Hon. Minister Frank K Tumwebaze (Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries).

The Uganda Embassy in Rome together with the Uganda Embassy to the Holy See and the Uganda Ecclesiastical Community held Celebrations in honor of the Uganda Martyrs. The event hosted at the White Fathers House in Rome started with a symposium followed by the Eucharistic Celebration - presided over by H.E. Cardinal Francis Arinze - and lunch.

H.E. Elizabeth Paula Napeyok, High Commissioner of Uganda to Nicosia, Cyprus, with Residence in Rome held a meeting with Mr. Marios Tsiakkis, Secretary General of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI). Their meeting focused on Investment, Commerce, Value addition in the field of Agriculture and others, Energy, Minerals and Mining, Fisheries, ICT and Infrastructure. They also discussed both Chambers of Commerce developing a future relationship.

H.E. Elizabeth Paula Napeyok, High Commissioner of Uganda to Nicosia, Cyprus, with Residence in Rome held a meeting with Mrs. Andrea Petranyi, Head of the Middle East Africa and Gulf Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nicosia, Cyprus. The High Commissioner visited Cyprus for the first-time post Covid 19 outbreak. The meeting centered on areas of Education, Tourism, ICT in regards for Agriculture and Trade. Scholarships in Sciences and other areas were discussed.

The Rt. Hon. Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda Ms. Robinah Nabbanja came to Rimini, Italy, to participate in the 45th Edition of the Rimini Meeting as keynote speaker, delivering a speech on the importance of creating opportunities for the youth through digital skills for sustainable development.

Her Excellency, Ambassador Elizabeth Paula Napeyok honored an invitation of the Venetian Province of the Order of Servants of Mary to witness the diaconate ordination of Brothers Charles M. Kiberu and Benon. M. Buyinza. The ordination was Presided over by the Rt. Rev. Mons. Giuliano Brugnotto, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Vicenza on 13th July, 2024 at the sanctuary of monte Berico. Deacon Charles M. Kiberu and Benon. M. Buyinza are very active members of the Uganda Ecclesiastical Community and the Diaspora community at large.

H.E. Amb Elizabeth Paula Napeyok visited three Ugandan children at the Gaslini Paediatric hospital in Genova, Italy where they underwent open heart surgery paid for by The POBIC Association of Italy, an NGO registered with The Italian Agency for Development - AICS.
